Thats BigDog. It's a robot developed by an engineering and robotics company called Boston Dynamics. Apparently one of the applications for this would be to serve as pack mule for troops in war zones that have hazardous terrain. If you know even VERY VERY little about mechanics or engineering or robotics, I'm sure you'll appreciate how hard it is to make things walk, let alone move and balance itself that way. It's INSANE. I'm sure some of you would be getting a slight MGS4 vibe from this and I don't blame you.
This is how it starts, you know.Slowly but surely its gonna get to a point where THEY become more or less like US. And then it's theres gonna be a Skynet and Squiddies and Number Sixes all over the place. I for one welcome our emotionless, robotic overlords.
Mmmm, Number Six... I would betray humanity for you in an instant.
